Cleaning Up Yard Waste is Easier Than Ever! You call, we pick up - even if you're not at home.
In the past, our customers have asked countless times if they can fill our empty Big Yellow Bags with their yard waste - old soil and dead sod. Now you can!
We are now able to pick up our used soil bags filled with yard waste. We pick up bags within our service area, which includes Kelowna and Vernon, Kamloops, and the Okanagan.
We cannot take household waste, construction waste or hazardous goods - only yard waste. We require customers to sign a Declaration of Non Hazardous Goods and place it in the bag pouch.
For more details and frequently asked questions please see below. To request a pickup call us at 1-855-737-0110.
How much can I put in a bag? Do not overfill. Maximum 1,500 lbs. The contents should not go higher than the top of the yellow portion of the bag. Do not overfill the bag into the green top. The bag must be upright and level so the forks of a forklift can go through all the loops of the bag at once.
How big is a forklift? Our forklifts are 9 feet (3 meters) wide, 12 feet (4 meters) tall and 12 feet (4 meters) long and weigh over 2 tonnes. Although they can turn in a very small area, they cannot go into car ports or close to house overhangs. Please make sure there are no overhead obstructions.
What if I already returned the bag or do not have an empty bag? You can pick up a bag at our office at 105 Hwy 97B in Enderby, BC. What if the bag is not accessible to the forklifts? A charge of $25 will be billed for our pick-up attempt. Please be sure the bag is placed where a 9-foot wide forklift can access it without overhead obstructions.
What can I put in the bag? Yard waste only. No household waste, construction waste or hazardous materials.
Some Points To Remember
Do not put anything above the yellow portion of the bag; forklift blades must be able to go through all the hoops.
Bags and lifting loops must be accessible to our forklifts
